Develop and style posters for projects (The CF Hub and CF Creative Space) under the auspices of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
The 12th Australasian Cystic Fibrosis Conference (ACFC) provided a collaborative and educational forum for CF professionals to help advance CF research and care. This conference brought together scientists, clinicians, caregivers and CF patients from around the world. The aim was to discuss and share ideas on the latest advances in CF research, care and drug development and to exchange ideas about ways to improve the health and quality of life for people with CF.
The event is Australasia’s largest event dedicated to Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Over 200 lay people and over 350 medical, allied health and nursing delegates plus CF researchers from across the region and around the world attended.
Medical conference posters are generally very text heavy. Considering the nature of the projects undertaken, it was felt infographic posters would be a better fit. The CF Creative Space has has been live since August 2016 so more statistics were used to highlight the international audience and repeat views. Since the CF Hub was a relatively project (live since July 2017), a fun ‘app’ style layout was developed.
Both projects made use of strong colours to stand out from the crowd while making the important information easy to read.
